Never heard of it and if they cancelled it then maybe they're making a 7900GS. :wink:

So? I might have it cheaper when it comes out. Rather than paying now, and seeing lower prices later.

Excellent thread title.

Too bad you can't put it in HUGE THROBBING RED letters.

Remember it's due date is July, so it's not delayed yet, you've still got a few weeks to go. And also a few weeks before the rumoured arrival of the G80 officially expires. :wink:

I doubt they'd delay it, it's a surefire win once it launches, but I don't doubt that July is still the earliest as they're still selling PCIe version very well.

Then can we expect a 8xxx series in agp?

I wouldn't count on it, but when you're trying to to move chips, you might think it makes sense to add DX10 support to a PC that can barely run Vista. :twisted:

Anywhoo with regards to your original post, here's something to whet your appetite;

Not much better than the X1600Pro (which is a bit surprising), but better all around (no areas of underperformance) which I expected. Easy win as long as the price isn't huge (still have to compete again GF6800 and GF6800GS (and X800GTO) not just the X1600Pro.

Exactly, sell it at even just a 10% (ie $10) premium, and it'd still be the clear winner IMO, especially if you could move to GT quality for +30-40%.
