Hi There,

I have a new RX630 and I can't install the program "Epson Scan" !

It halts halfway through the install and displays the error...

"Cannot copy the file esscncl.dll". Please run setup again. I've
downloaded the latest version of Epson Scan from the website with no
luck.

Perhaps it's a problem with the Twain software ?

Any suggestions appreciated

Is esscnc.dll already on your PC, but in read-only mode?
This would explain the "cannot copy"

It is hard to see why. Drivers distributed on CD are
all set R/O because all files on a CD are R/O.
