Biostar, are they reliable?

I was just curious if anyone has had any experiance with them as a manufacturer?

I am using the BIOSTAR M7NCG 400 Micro ATX in my HTPC since December 2003. So far so good.

They only just recently got into the GPU scene.

I was actually looking at there Gpu's was just wondering if you had anything I should be forwarned about?

As I said, they just got into the GPU sector. Most likely they just buy OEM video cards and rebrand them as their own and then sell it. That's it. Just like most other brands out there.

All manufacturers make same cards, some are overclocked, warranties are different sometimes. Asus (for example) vs. Biostar isn't an issues, since the cards are basically same. I wouldn't really worry.

Yea, I personally wont touch Biostar, PCchips, allied or ECS...but thats just me.

Yup, it's safer to go with eVGA or BFG.

Be aware that the are problems with OCed 7900GTs. BFG, eVGA, and XFX were specifically identified.
