Go online in office 2010

Hopefully you can help. No one else seems to know the answer. I just a few days ago install office 2010, cannot get it to send or reiceve mail. I am considering that the "off line", may be the problem. I can't find a way to turn it on, back on line.

Try Outlook again and try clicking manually on the connect button. If you are connected, close outlook again. When you start it again now, the program should by default be in online mode. If for some reason it reverts back to being offline, your install might be damaged, in which case i would try to repair the office 2010 installation.
