Well Hardwarezone did a few benchies of the recently launched GX2 hooked up in tandem doing 'Quad SLi', the results are kinda interesting;

Some benifit and some drawback especially when comparing to 2 'plain' GTX in SLi.

Seems the best place of benifit is very high levels of AA. 3Dmark doesn't show much improvement, but the games they test universally show improvement around the 8+XAA level.
