Mike,
To restate for everyone here in the pocketpc group, here is what you posted
in the handheldpc group:
I have an iPAQ5550 with Pocket Windows 2003. My PC has a constant T1
connection to the Internet. I thought when my iPAQ was docked, I had access
to the Internet via my iPAQ. When I launch ie from the device, no pages
will
come up. The main reason this is a problem is that I have a the Omega One
Journal Bar installed on my iPAQ. It is supposed to occasionally go out to
the web and update news, weather, stocks, etc. Right now it won't update
anything, not even the weather. From their support side, they indicate this
is because I am not connecting to the Internet from my device. That is true
because I cannot even browse the web using ie on my iPAQ. I can't figure
out
how to set my iPAQ up so that it will connect to the internet when docked.
Does this make sense? Any help would greatly be appreciated.
usually the culprit of this is which connection your Pocket PC is trying to
use. If you go to Settings -> Connections -> Connections you will be able
to change this. Go to the Advanced tab then set "Programs that
automatically connect to the internet should connect using: to My ISP.
