Hi there.

When I try to print out my checkride certificate in FS2004 it comes up
with an error massage. Something about "for security reasons this
action cannot be done because you have a debugger running. Please turn
it off" etc etc.

As far as i know i have o debugger running. What could it be?

Anybody had this problem?

Do you have any external applications taking data from Flightsim, through a
DLL like FSUIPC or other module? Or what about a particularly aggressive
virus checker? It sounds to me like the executable believes there's another
program monitoring its execution.

I've seen this before when an application I have at work wont run if I'm
also running VisualStudio at the same time.

Wasn't that something that has been addressed and corrected with the update
patch 9.1? I guess I remember......

Sorted it out. I reinstalled my printer software and it now works.
Found it wouldn't print anything, not just FS printouts.
Have redone the checkride and now have certificate on my wall ) On
to the commercial pilot stuff now. Quite fun this.

Thanks anyway

I wonder if my local FBO would rent me an airplane if I showed them my
Microsoft Private Pilot Checkride Certificate?

Sure they will...

Just make sure that you exclaim loudly as you taxi out:

"Hey, Y'all...Watch This..."

;O)
