Stackhash error

Well, I came home today to find that everything on my computer was crashing.. Kinda. When I rebooted, 3/4 of my autostart programs, and many others would report they have "Stopped working" and all of then have fault module name Stackhash_???? Where ? is hexadecimal number. I noticed today that at about 3AM I received a critical update. So decided to do a system restore. I load a program, and I get that error. Many of the programs (Perhaps all) that say they have stopped working, are still running after I tell it to close the program. So although the computer seems to run fine, it is constantly telling me things have "stopped working" any ideas?

PS. The "Critical update" was windows defender.

Well, fixed already. As soon as "Error with instructon.. the memory at location ... cannot be read" I knew where the issue was. Comodo Firewall. Uninstalled it, all is fine.
