Storing programs on SD or CF cards?

Is it possible to store many of the program files themselves on a SD or CF
card instead of in main memmory? I am tight on space for main memmory, but
have plenty of space on my CF card. Most of the programs did not ask me where
they were going to install, but they went to main memmory. The programs I am
running are MS Reader, Acrobat Reader, IE, and the suite of programs that
came on the pocket pc. Is there something else I should check for on main
memmory that may be wasting space. I did not find many data files there.
Thanks for any help or suggestions,

Take a look at Active/Sync add remove programes and and unclick
"Install program in to default installation folder" you can then install
them onto your
memory card. Note some programs will not run from the cards but they are few
and
far between, eg. wire card drivers etc.

you can also try www.phm.lu/pocketpc/regtweaks/ and hack your registry to
move
other data files to your cards.

When you install a program on the PPC it asks do you want to put the
files in the default location. Say no. That will let you try running
it from the CF or SD card. Not all programs will run. Some require
intallation in main memory. (Note MS reader is in ROM on some
devices, Acrobat will run on SD or CF from what I undestand,
and the suite of programs that came on the pocket pc are all in ROM
so they are not taking up usable space.
