I have the following

P5N32 SLI delux
P4 960 (3.6 Dual core)
Crosair XMS2 Pro DDR2 800Mhz 5.5.5.15 (2.1Gb)
WD Raptor 150 Gb
Audigy 4
Wirless Card
Gigabyte 7900GT
4 Case fans
Zalman 7700 Cu
Tagan 550W psu

Someone told me 550 wat isnt enough for this set up! Im pretty sure it will surfice. Although I am having problems getting my PC to post sometimes (50% of the time). Could this be true? The MB does suck a 24 pin + 8 pin + 4 Pin Molex Ez Plug. This seems like a lot but im pretty sure 550 wat is plenty.

Even running SLI that PSU will probably be fine whether it be a 550w or 530w. From what I've heard Tagan makes some pretty decent power supplies. Its DEFINATELY more than that system needs.

I saw 530 wt and 580 wt models, but no 550's. Either way, with what you have it should be fine. As for the post problems, look for a loose connection in wiring, sockets, ram, and cards. Something that might be getting juice sometimes, but not always.

Its a Tagan 550 wat model Im 100% sure of it... you might not beable to find it now because they only stoped production of the 550 wat models just over a year ago.

Those pplz at Asus say that 550 isnt enough I think they are just scratching for excuses!

Thanks for help pplz

don't ask, that psu is fine, something else may be causing the probs, or the psu could be defective.
