More Information

Good Day,

When I bought my LCD 17 inch Viewsonic monitor about two years ago I installed the drivers without any troubles and Windows XP showed the VP171b model without problems. This last weekend I upgraded motherboard, CPU and Video Card and after reinstalling the same Windows I own, and installing again the Viewsonic Drivers, Windows dont recognized the LCD monitor and showed only a Plug and Play Standard Monitor. The installation process of the drivers is OK, without any error, but after the installation nothing happens and the Standard Monitor isnt replaced by the Viewsonic LCD. I have tried a lot of options...I have downloaded new drivers form the web, I have uninstalled the Standard Monitor drivers and added new hardware using the inf file of the Viewsonic ones...all without succes...

I know this isnt a great issue but if someone know what is happening, my curiosity would be satisfied..

Thanks for your time...
