More about real 3dmark06 score great system help
  1. Its just a benchmark. How well do your games run.
  2. You sure you actually got it working in crossfire mode? I don't know much about ATI cards but check in the ati control panel that crossfire is configured.

Also, check your quality settings, at high quality all cards perform rubbish.

    Try the latest vga driver.

I got around 4500 3dmark06 score for a 3800x2 and 7800gt so although your result is a little on the low side, it's not drastically low.
  3. What OS are you running? 4gb is a total waste. Try running it with 2gb instead, and you should see some kind of a difference.
  4. 6354 is low for 1 of those video cards, are you sure your running in crossfire mode?
    I get 6415 with 1 7600GT and a Sempron64. Something aint right.
  5. What's your processor score?

3dMark 2006 scoring is HEAVILY dependant on the CPU. Dual core CPUs will give a huge scoring advantage over a single core, even if the single-core machine is the faster gamer in reality.
  6. Well since the FX-60 IS dual core that can't be his problem. I would also check whether your video cards are actually running in crossfire mode. My system (in my sig) is able to get over 7500 stock so something is definitely wrong, the only difference is that I'm only running 2 gb of ram.

I see that now, my bad.
  9. Go down to two sticks of RAM and run them in command mode 1T.

Also make sure Crossfire is enabled, and if it is, try the benchmark with one card out.
  10. Well my score must be real shit then. But i have a farily decent spec - my system still is sweet as a nut and runs games/apps real good:)

    Check:

What do you guys think of this then?
  11. That is a good score for a 7900GT and 3700+ with no overclocking.
