as long as it isnt SLI or anything u' shouldnt have to mod it, and addming vents or holes at the top would be more effective than adding fans on the bottom since heat will have the ability to rise straight out of your PC

So, for my config asus p5wdg2-ws

4gb ram
geforce 7950gx2

a silverstone lc03v will work just fine with holes on top ?

yes, it will be noisy but if u drill few vent holes on the top of the case over key components (CPU and vid card) heat will be able to rise right out.

if u want u could drill fan mounts on the top of the case it will help but heat already rises so fans would assist in cooling

intel makes buggy mobos.it's not just my opinion. The p5wdg2-ws is know for it stability and that's what i'm looking for. i have had several mobos in my life ( but i'm not a grandpa :) ), among wich : intel, msi, gigabyte, and the most satisfying experience was with the asus ones . that's why i've chosen asus. also because it's a workstation platform the model in question.
