I have this board overclocking a P805D from 2.66 GHz to 3.63 GHz.

I am unable to use anything other than the Auto setting for CPU voltage, so the P805D is running @ 3.63 GHz @ 1.31 V.

I was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue?

Are you unable to set it, or unable to use it?

More significant for overclocking was that the vCore provided was always 100mv below our manually-chosen value, so that 1.55v was required to reach 1.45v during our overclock stability tests.

I am able to change the voltage, but it won't reboot. So I end up having to reset the BIOS.

If it's hit 3.63GHz with the volage on Auto why do you want to push it higher? Unless you're using some exotic cooling you're pretty near the limit of what you're going to get out of the chip anyway. Ramping up the voltage is a law of diminishing returns as the CPU gets a lot hotter a lot more quickly and your electricity bill jumps through the roof!

You mean it won't "save and reboot"? I've come across that on a couple boards, but most of them allowed me to save, force shutdown by holding the power button, and power up with the new setting anyway. I don't remember having to do that with the C19-A SLI.

I did some further testing and was able to load into Windows @ 3.75 GHz. To do that, I had to run the FSB @ 750 MHz and the memory @ 667. When running Prime 95 I did get errors. At a FSB of 775 and memory of 667 it posts but will not load into Windows.

I'm stable @ 3.63 GHz w/ FSB @ 725 MHz and memory running @ 725 MHz (ran Prime 95 w/ two instances for nearly 8 hours last night with 0 errors).

I guess spending $70 on a motherboard has it's disadvantages.

Don't beat yourself up over this: you got a reasonable overclock and your CPU will probably live beyond its usefulness. In a year you can look back on this and laugh at the guys who tried for 4.1GHz, got to 4.0GHz, and then had their CPU vaporize after a few weeks.

Hey, I got an idea, send me your CPU and I'll have a go at it with my C19-A

LOL...I will take your advice and leave it @ 3.6 GHz. Sorry Crashman..I can't send you my CPU. =D
