I have an iPaq 4700 and have been using both battery Pack pro and
Calligrapher 7 on this machine.

The upgrade to calligrapher 7_4 however started an endless cycle of soft
rests that could only be broken with a hard reset.

Having learned my lesson and backed up I was able to restore quite easily.
But I tried reinstall some software one at a time to try to find the
culprit.

My experimentation soon yielded a likely culprit. It seems that Battery Pack
Pro can't coexist with Calligrapher 7_4 at least on an iPaq 4700.

I upgraded to 7.4 and several shortcuts to apps no longer worked. Not even
reinstalling them from ActiveSync brought them back, so it was another hard
reset & restore of backup. Upgrades. Sigh......
