I have heard some pplz say the the quad 12v rail psus are not as good as dual 12v rail PSUs!

The reason: The makers are pumping these quad 12v rail PSUs because 4 rails is more stable than 2 therefore they can use inferior parts.....

Is this true??

...ehh...no quad is better than dual unless the dual rail's = quad rails which means the quad rails really suck, but every quad rail out there pwns, so no

its like saying FWD is better than AWD, altho i must say RWD may have an advantage over AWD when it comes to speed

There could be one drawback with quad 12v rails. You'll need to check on the current supplied from each of the 12v rails and make sure they supply enough for your needs, as you will sometimes find that just because you have 4 12v rails, it doesn't necessarily mean the psu will supply enough juice to power, for example, a high end graphics card and your system etc...etc... The total power out is gonna include the sum of the 4 12v volt rails.
