This is horrible. I complained to this crappy company named Diablotek that basically told me to try RivaTuner. Wtf? and Geeks.com where I bought it from didn't answer several emails from me.

Is this possible, or a misreading?

More info on this budget card is found here: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1549699&Tab=11&NoMapp=0

My guess would be that the program is misreading. I doubt that the video card would function at that low of an opperating frequency. My suggestion is that you install coolbits so that you can check your clock frequencies.

download it here: http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=815

Coolbits adds a menu in the driver settings that allows you to modify the clock speed of the memory and GPU on your Nvidia graphics card. It looks like this:

BTW What is your 3DMark score?

i have the same problem with my Leadtek 7800GT , the 3DMark 2005 shows that my GPU clock is only 8.1 MHz & Memory Clock 1.05GHz ... but its allright , i dont care , because riva tuner & coolbits shows the right Clocks ... & it doesnt mean anything , because my 3Dmark score is ~7500 & it seems right !!
dont worry ... be cool 8)

i thought about that. but my score was a lot lower than others with similar configurations.

i scored a 2750. which seems very low considering the specs. my specs are listed below.

My Gainwood 7800GS+ shows the correct core speed,
but the memory is all over the place with different programmes.
Anywhere from N/A to 312mhz to 625mhz. :?
Only Rivatuner shows 1250mhz, correct rated speed.

Have you tried checking the performance/detail settings in the driver menues?

What power supply do you have? I have heard of systems under perfroming when their PSU isn't up the the load. You might try lowering your overclock of both CPU and GPU and see if that makes a difference. Maybe even experiment with doing one, then the other, and then both.

Also have you checked to make sure that your CPU isn't getting too hot. I know that you have a Zalman cooler but if something didn't go right with the installation you could be experiencing a little therma throttling.

You might also try running memtest86 for a little while though it doesn't sound like a memory problem.
