I currently have a Asus A8R-MVP Ati Radeon Crossfire board
I have a Radeon X800XL 256mb card in there.
Should I double up with that same Card (Still listed for $299 @ compusa
) or go with one of the newer ATI cards in the $400-$500 range.

A single X1800 XT or 7900 GT would easily beat two X800 XLs, and they can be had for under $300 from Newegg.
Sell the X800 and get one.
