I want to buy a laptop.
Does anyone knows if also the laptop CPUs are going to have price reductions, or is it just the desktop ones?

I would imagine that the Laptop versions of popular chips will go down significantly in the next 2-3 months, just keep an eye out.

just wait for core duo mobile (merom) i heard that will also have significant performance increase.

It's really the desktop CPUs that will get the price reductions. Laptops have gotten cheaper since Core Duo - I got my Centrino at a good price after Core DUo hit the market and gained popularity. There is a deal at COmpusa with a COmpaq laptop for $400!!!!!!!!!!
