I have windows XP Pro on my dell XPS T700r. I have a MDP3900V-U(B) data/fax modem. My question is: can this modem be turned into a Voice modem by means of software, if so any recommendations, or do I have to get a modem that is designed to be a voice modem. When I query the modem it shows the AT+FCLASS 0,1,8,80, and from what I can gather the 8 means it is capable of voice.
Thx
Have you tried voice software? The specs page indicates it has voice capability.
It's always the one thing you never suspected.
Any recomendations for voice software, i've tried ringcentral. I also got the original driver from the manufactures support page, but XP wont let me install an older driver, any way around that?
