Hello

does anyone know how to check the ram temperature in windows environment. I have overclocked my value select ram 667 to 700. It runs well in 10 hrs of prime 95 test. I would like to check the temp of the ram. And also please let me know what is an ideal temp for rams.

Thanks.

Not really anyway to check the temp in the windows environment because RAM isn't usually fitted with thermal sensors (unless you have some of that high end RAM with those LEDs on top). Your RAM temp should be fine unless you up the voltage out of operating range. Check with the manufacturer's website and support forums, usually tests have been carried out to find out what voltage settings are safe.

If you are really worried about the RAM, try getting an old fan and tie it to the RAM modules (securely but gently as not to damage them). Even a little bit of air movement is better than the usual stagnant air hanging around RAM.
