DDR2 Memory for Laptops

So I'm thinking about upgrading the memory in my laptop from 1GB (2x512MB) to 2GB (1x1024MB). My question is do you think the timings will come down for the ram for notebooks in about a year to around 4-4-4-12 or should I go ahead and upgrade the ram now with 5-5-5-12? Or does cas4 ddr2 memory for notebooks already exist in 1GB sticks? Thanks.
