Is the Antec TruePower II 550w enough to power a 7950? EVGA said the 7950 requires 28A on a single +12v rail. My PSU has +12v1 at 19A and +12v2 at 19A. That added together 38Amps is enough right? Or doesn't the rails get added together.

they do, um...for something like a 7950 i would push for quad rails. (check Forton Source (FSP group) because there is more power.

7950 is fairly new so power consumption is supposedly low. but u never know

i would stick with your truepower II, it will bring plenty of amps to the 7950 card although going a little higher might be better and/or just a security issue, but your 550W should do fine...the two 12V rails generally do not add up to a total amperage its most likey 35-36A
