Just grabbed one of these, about £45 less than dabs.com

http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProdu...
Venice 3500 £78.00

http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProdu...
Venice 3800 £97.00

Wish I'd seen the 3800 when I got the 3500.

Of course, they're probably out of stock, but there's nothing to stop a pre order. I've been waiting for months for the 3500 to drop from £150 on dabs, then I found this.

Hope it helps.

Prices in the US have made a big drop as well, AM2 and 939 are both a very good deal now. I am glad that I waited 'til now to build a new system.

It's nice to see the Manufacturers taking a "bath" for a change. Us consumers have been getting "gouged" for many years now. :D

Makes you wonder how they can push their 3000's and 3200's down to $100 and hardly budge their higher end cpus :x

No, it's about the vendors and taxes here. A s939 3000 boxed is around $120
