Which programs should I install on my
Western Digital Raptor WD740ADFD 74Gb 10000rpm 16Mb cache S-ATA
and which programs should I install on my
Seagate Barracuda ST3500641AS 7200.9 500Gb 7200rpm 16Mb cache SATA2
in order to make my systems as fast as possible? Right now I'm thinking the OS, Anti-virus and Firewall on the Raptor and the rest on the Barracuda. I want to keep the Raptor at least half empty all the time since a full HD is slower than one with a lot of empty space on.

I would install all apps, and games on the Raptor...OS as well. Then use the Barracuda for storage. You won't even come near half-filling the Raptor with all your apps, and OS. GL :)

Raptor:
OS, Games, Benchmarks, apps you use often that require good HDD performance
Storage:
all the other things
