SATA=cant slave. Each SATA needs its own cable and own plug into the mobo. Plug it in just like your primary SATA drive - Format - download Pr0n

If you are wondering which drive will be chosen as primary, it's usually drive 0 (the first one), but some motherbaords allow you to choose which drive you boot to.

He's right. Is there any reason why you want it to be slave?

In your RAID BIOS set up your drives as JOB "Just a bunch of Disks" also when you first set up Windows F6 the RAID drivers to the primary JOB

They are not caled slaves as there are no SATA cables that have 2 drives.

JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks), and if you don't need raid, disable it, most (not all) controllers let you use the interfaces with raid disabled.
Yea, that is what I intended to impart I'm suffering acronymitus for days now...LOL JBOD is much better then a JOB. My issue is that I think I need a better JOB as in work?
