When I try to install programs on my PC... in the past it would ask
Activesync to load in the default location.
Now for several days it says that the installation could not complete
because of the following error message:
"Activesync not found on this computer. Setup cannot continue and will now
exit"
I have WM 2003 SE on an Axim X30 High.
What the hell happened?????
I am sure I am missing something or a setting I messed up.
Please help.

FWIW, I have a pocket PC that's started doing this also. But I found
that it's not related to the PPC device since I was able to successfully
install from a friend's PC.
The PC's in both cases are identical laptops with XP Pro SP2 but
obviously there's something different in mine that his!
In my case, also it makes not difference if the firewall is disabled or
not (I only run the Windows XP firewall).

My solution in the past has been to delete and reinstall ActiveSync. I
haven't had to do that for some time now.
