I am sure this has been asked before -
i have 2 computers with XP home edition, and a DSL modem/router
internet access works great but i cannot set up a home network, i only managed to do ftp between the comps
i trie to ping each computer from the other one and it does not work - anyone knows what could be wrong?
Thanks!

well, if ftp DOES work then ping also MUST... cant be other way... the only case if you block the ping with a firewall.
