WORD documents display WordPad Icon

Hello,
I have the same problem as mister T but i have windows 7 os, i have tried searching registry for systemfileassociation but i cannot find it anywhere. is there a different solution in win7?

here is the link to the whole subject. the problem is that i have a .docx file associated with microsoft word but it displays wordpads icon. i am wondering how to change the icon so it displays MSwords icon?

yes thank you i found a solution there. after applying all of the trickyest solution i found out that i was missing icon in install folder like mentioned in one post near the end of the page! thank you a lot!
