AM2 mobo question

I just had a birthday and my parents blew me away after they bought a brand new ASUS m2n32-SLI DELUXE mobo. Its so sick! I was thinking about a AMD Athlon 5000+ and Its an AM2 mobo so my question is this:

Do you think that a better mobo will come out before the AMD price drop in July?

I wouldn't count on it. You must have some cool, tech savy parents although. The AM2 boards seem to still be so new. Anyone buying them now is an early adopter of the socket..

That board right there however will last a while, it looks to be a great mobo.
