Im using OCZ 2x256 PC27000 and CPU-Z says the timing is 3:3:6 and Kingston 2x512 PC2700 and the timing is 2:2:5. Well, the system properties says i only have 768MB of ram, but CPU-Z says i have 1536MB.

So im thinking the different timings are causing this discrepency in total MB being reported. I am using a gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2, i looked on the site and couldnt find bios updates that could solve the problem. Nor could find any setting BIOS to fix the problem.

Any ideas??

i decided to take out the ocz ram, and and the computer reconized the 2x512 kingston.

Im guessing the timing was the problem, but can anyone confirm this for me?
