strange boot problem but got it fixed

for some reason, when I boot up my pc, I heard 1 beep is coming from the case and my monitor is loosing signal, strange that if I let pc to continue boot, I hear the sound of logging to the windows but I can't see anything on my montor.

anyway I just pushed on my vga card, and all is working now, but how my pc booted to windows and it gives me 1 beep from the case and monitor is loosing singal

any comments ?

The system BIOS will normally beep if it is unable to find the VGA card.

It sounds like the card was not seated correctly.

Some operating systems can boot without a VGA card.

It's also possible a cable might have been loose.
