Anyone has any idea how to play dts movies?

I have the audigy ZS hooked up to the logitech Z5500D speakers. Ive hooked up both of them using the analog connections as well as the digital connection (using the 3.5mm mono plug to RCA plug on the control centre)

Each time i play a movie with DTS function no sound is produced when i change the settings to coax input. however if i use the normal 6 ch input it works prefectly.

Anyone has any ideas?

I think you need to select SPDIF passthrough on whatever media player you use when using the digital connection.

yeah i did that..

i can use the dts option now. However, when i play it on either windows media player or power dvd, the surrond sound it good but i cant hear the voices during conversation. Its so muffled.

When i tried using the creative media source player, it cant play dvds. unless am i missing a player that supports that function?

You need a good center channel for movies, as that's the primary voice channel.
