A simple google says stock voltage is from 1.35->1.4V, it even says this in the specification on newegg.

The fact that your voltage is lower in cpu-z means nothing, sometimes the voltage is reported wrong or because of the nature of CPUs the potential difference across it can change.

Check in the bios to what your cpu Vcore is set to.

Generally, if your processor is using a lower vcore than stock then you might be lucky, that means your processor is working very efficiently and might be a good overclocker.

it's set to auto in bios.

yeah well it's at 2640Mhz and idle at 33c so idk is that good?

i bumped the voltage to 1.35.

Why? You should always run your system at the lowest voltage you can to remain stable - it will help everything last a little longer. Take it back down to where it was and run SuperPI, some benchmarks, and some Prime95. See if it can pass all of those at the lower voltage. If it can, it means it's stable at its undervolted state and will be a good overclocker compared to the rest of its class.

And the low temperature won't hurt, either. See if you can OC it like the Pentium D 805...

Never bump the voltage unless your doing an extreme overclock. If you do this make sure you monitor the temps constantly for a few days.

It wasn't completely stable with the low voltages, so i bumped it up only to find out that it was the ram that was crashing my system not the cpu( i can't run a divider for some reason) I upped the voltage on my ram and put the voltage on my cpu back to auto and i'm completely stable.

thanks guys =]
