I have a virus in my recycle bin that is empty

My AVG says there is 5 Trojan horses in my recycle bin on d drive. When I try to remove them it says object doesn't exist or is inaccessible. I have cleaned the drive space on my hard drive and have ran a scan with windows to try to repair but to no avail. Can anyone please steer me in the right direction to remove the threat or ghost please?

You could try malwarebytes or Microsoft security essentials (you would need to remove avg to use mse)

the files could be hidden, go to folder options and show hidden files.

No the recycle bin appears to be empty. I have ran malwarebytes and have found nothing. I am trying rkill.exe and then malwarebytes again let you know how it turns out. Just completed a quick scan and the log said it found nothing.

You should be running Malwarebytes and Tdss killer in safemode for best results.
