How do I use my cradle and Active Sync now that my new Laptop does not
have a serial port?

I have a Compaq Aero 1520 and the cradle for it has a serial port
connection. When I tried a USB to Serial adapter cable, the program
could never find a 'com' port when running.

Did you run the install program for the converter?? Do you have any other
serial devices that you can test the converter on?
