Windows Explorrer random crashing

System specs would be a great place to start...cpu,ram,motherboard,etc...
Then we can determine if it is hardware or software related...

Its a laptop, dell studio 1747 for EU market. Win 7 home premium 64bit, intel core i7 q720, 4gb ram, 500gb disk, i wouldnt know which motherboard i got in him
