Quick Raid Question

How much of a benefit whould I see or expect if I had 4 Maxtor Maxline III 250GB drives in a Raid 0 array aposed to only 2 of them in Raid 0? - Is the performance increase Linear or will there be only a minor difference?

This array would be setup on the motherboards SATA Raid ports - Asus P5WDG2-WS

Dont tell me about the unreliability of Raid 0 or anything like that - I know

This computer will be used primarily for video encoding and editing but also some games

i looked up on google, articles that review the Intel ICH7R controller chipset (which i think is the disk controller chipset on an Asus P5WDG2-WS motherboard)

one of the reviews was at

look up 'ICH7R raid review' on google, or something similar, and you should be able to find numerous reviews to help you decide if its worth it
