I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if this power supply will work for the system I've already ordered parts for off newegg. I know I should have ordered a better psu but didn't realize it until the order had been shipped. I should receive the parts early next week.

ASUS A8N-E Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard

eVGA 256-P2-N564 Geforce 7900GT KO 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16

AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Venice 2000MHz HT Socket 939 Processor

Thermaltake TR2 W0070 ATX 430W Power Supply

I know Am2 would make much more sense for some, however I really doubt I'll do much upgrading in the next year or 2 and I'd also like to reuse my 1 gig of pc 3200 ram along w/ every other part not listed for my next build as I am building this on a budget.

Any good advice would be appreciated!

i think it should be enough as long as you dont add another graphics card or buy a better one in the future that damnds more wattage then you should be fine

I agree, you should be okay with that PSU. If you want to do some heavy-duty overclocking, a better PSU might be wise. GL
