I'm currently using a vp930b that I bought based on tomshwardware estatic review. However I have been disapointed with it for the past 6 months. All my DVD movies are vhs quality with sparkles. I'm considering going back to CRT soon as my vp930b is on ebay. is there any better LCD's now?

Try the BenQ FP202W. It's the one I ordered. Should get it Monday. Every review I've read says it's an amazing 20" display (1680 x 1050).

no do not get the BenQ, i have it also and even though i love it it doesn't deliver the best quality for a TV Tuner, as for DVDs i'm not entirely sure but i wouldn't recommend it, in order to get good dvd play you'll have to go more expensive unfortunetly, something that is 8-bit not 6 bit
