Okay, I have purchased 1GB PQI memory. When I go into my BIOS I can change the clock speed of my memory to 400MHz (800Mhz) and turn the latency timings 3-3-3. with no problems, I've tried some test and I am getting some performance increase (not much but noticeable) and it's perfectly stable. When I POST it does say Memory clocking 800Mhz Dual-Channel!!
I don't believe my eyes, is this a fluke, or what?

That's great. It will probably clock a little higher than 800mhz. Makes PC3200 400 mhz seem awfully outdated.

I believe you are moving data with PC6400 DDR2 at 6.4 gbts. per second as compared to PC3200 3.2 gbts. per second. That's a nice upgrade!

OCZ honors their warranty even if the RAM was runing by the end user at higher voltages than advertised. Yeah, upping the voltages is where you can run into problems. You'll get heat at least. BTW, you could become limited by your MB too when you take the RAM beyond 800 mhz. You will definately get greater CPU clock speeds with yur RAM running 800 mhz than you would with lesser rated or slower RAM. I am familiar with the smell of toasted silicone, but I don't even know what DDR2 smells like.
