Hey guys,
I have my amd 3800+ x2 OCed to 2.6ghz. My FSB is 260mhz. I have my PCI express bus locked in at 100mhz and my PCI bus locked in at 33.33 mhz.
Someone who I trust told me that having a high fsb can damage ur video card. Now since I have the buses locked, does this mean that my video cards wont get damaged?
I have two BFG tech 7800 gts in SLI and i dont want them to be fried in a month. So back to my question: Can OCing damage my video cards?

Thanks for any feedback u provide.

i wouldnt worry about it, your friend is probably talking about AGP cards since a higher frequency would increase the frequency of the of the agp bus.

btw i found that increasing the PCI bus to 115 will give a rather nice boost in games, any higher than 115 and the performance starts to drop back down, try a 3dmark05 score before and after :D

The only way that might happen is if you arent getting rid of the extra heat from the cpu. But that would only happen if when you ocing very high like the 805D cough cough.
