Hey fellaz.
I've just got a new 17" monitor. As you have probably figured it's a syncmaster 753DF. It's an ok jump for me from Samsung syncmaster 750s. My problem is that graphics or text get's slightly blurred to the horizontal extremes. About an inch or so of the screen on either sides of the monitor get's slightly blurred. No options on the monitor seem to help. I'm running a 8500dv video card. OS is WinXp. Any suggestions are appretiated.

The reply is a little late.
But better late than never.

The 753DF runs optimally at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 with a refresh rate of 85Hz.

Its because the DF series has thicker glass around the edges to make it look flat. Try looking at the corners from a side angle, they fade almost to black because of the curved lens effect.
