What? Can you provide a link to any laptops that can do SLI/Crossfire, or have motherboards supporting multiple drives and raid? But to answer your question, you'd probably be better off with better video rather than faster drives.

None. A single top-line card would do. Both SLI/CF and RAID are waste of battery, and won't give you worthy benefits.
i dont know if someone interested in buying a gaming laptop actually cares about battery life, but either way, sli/cf and raid are pointless

Your battery won't be able to support SLI/CF for long enough to really call it mobile. You will just have a smaller PC that still needs a power outlet.

Just build a system in a mini-tower and put a handle on it or get a lanparty bag for your case.

The premium $ you pay for a gaming laptop would get you a stellar PC with cash left over for nachos and energy drinks.
