I need to apply a solvent based ink onto vinyl but the main players
like Roland, Mimaki etc seem to sell HUGE machines. Does anyone know
who makes a version about 40mm wide please, thats about 16 inches

This kind of printer is built for commercial sign makers and such - I
doubt very much that you will find a consumer level machine. I think
you'll have to bite the bullet and have a commercial printer do the job
for you. Probably cheaper than buying your own, anyway. Good luck!

Thanks Douglas
When I sent my post I had a feeling that a small solvent printer would
be more than half the cost of the Jumbo ones. At 3-4000 dollars the
PC12 sems to have proved this!
Thanks anyway, but as another poster has said I think Ill have to keep
paying the guys who have mortgaged themsleves into buying the real
thing
