I've just recently bought parts for my computer. I've built 1 before but I havn't come across this error.

The problem is between the motherboard and the case. The panel at the back of the motherboard won't fit through the case. The case that I have is an X-blade ATX case. The motherboard is a Asus A8N-SLI SE motherboard. With the motherboard I was given an external panel to attach to my case , the problem is I don't really know how? Do I take the panel at the back of the case off and fit the new one? How am I able to fit the new one?

Quite awkward questions but I'm a man who likes to make sure before I attempt anything.

Thanks a lot.

OK, that shouldn't be a problem. How about fitting the external back panel?

Take the one that's on the case off by pusing into the case from the outside back... then put the new one (came with motherboard) into that spot by pushing from the inside towards the back of the case.... you can't get it wrong because either it will be upside down or backwards (from left to right). Fit the plate to the back outputs of the motherboard and install it that way... can't really go wrong here.
