I am thinking about upgrading my system and i came accross this hard drive it's a barracuda, and i think that they're good but :

is this drive noisy? (i have a 250gb maxtor sata hdd and is reall noisy sometimes)

is it reliable? will it work like flawlessly (well work well) with most motherboards/hardware?

is it very good(performance compared to other dirves of similar price?)

I'd say go with the 7200.10 drive.... they are a couple DB quieter than the 7200.9 generation of Seagate drives. Plus you get an extra 20GB for only a couple pounds more.

And yes they are quieter and much more reliable than a Maxtor. They aren't the best, performance-wise, but they are good.
