Let's keep this short and sweet.
I'm getting a building a new computer along with a 19" 1440x900 LCD monitor. I don't need any recomendations on monitors.

I just want to know what graphic card or graphic cards I will need to play the newest games such as FEAR on High to Max setting without AA. I'm willing to spend tops as much as what a X1900XTX but I wonder if I can get bang-for-the-buck with an SLI solution (NOT CROSSFIRE) something like dual 7600GT's. Anybody have experiences or found a good review on the net? Preferebly with benchmarks.

Splendid
A bit of experience. I have a 1900 XTX and it works great, especially as an alternative to an SLI system. Mine is watercooled, so there is almost no noise and the temperatures are low. I think it would power your monitor with no problems at all.

Heck Even A 7800GT Would Have No Problems Even With AA Set To 4x And AF Set To 16x I Run Those Settings At My Wide-Screens Native 1600x1024 With The Same Card (Abiet Slightly Overclocked, But It Ran Great At Stock Too) You Can Find 7800GTs New For About $250.00

A Little Secret: A 7900GT Isnt A Huge Improvment And Will Cost You More And A 7800GT Is Still Faster Than A 7600 Series Card

FYI: I Bought My Card 7 Months Ago And What Does It Matter? At 1440x900 He Woulnt Even Know The Differance And He Would Save Money In The Process And Hed Have A Happy Medium Between The 7600 Series And The 7900GT

7900GT costs about $240, and you say you can get a 7800GT for about $250, so how does he save money? 7900GT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>7800GT in performance and price.

I have an Acer 19" WS monitor with 1440x900 native res.

I can play FEAR maxed out (no AA or AF, mind you) at native res and there's no noticeable slowdown with a 7900GT.

7900GT is definitely a good value these days. I'd get one of those. SLI is hardly a value option. For less money, the 7600GT is supposed to be a very worthy contender considering the price.
