Dear All,

I have a HP iPAQ h1910 running Pocket PC 2002. When recently trying to
get MSN Messenger for my PDA, I found that the device was supposed to
have it preinstalled in ROM (see
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/downloads/msnmes...).

I cannot find this program on my PDA. Can you verify whether it should
be installed in ROM, and if so what the executable file should be
called? Or is it installable from the bundled CD-ROM?

Thanks in advance. Please CC any responses to my e-mail address below
(minus the spamguard).

Installed from the CD.

My 1910 never had MSN messenger on it (I just moved from it to an Axim X50).

The h1910 has no communications capability outside the IR port and
ActiveSync (I.E. you can't use wireless) so using an IM on it is not really
practical unless you want to hold it right up to your PC and let it talk
through ActiveSync. You can do that (browse websites and stuff) but if
you're that close to your PC then why bother?
