How big is your monitor(s) and how many do you have running on your main PC?

I was thinking of getting the biggest I could get in the future, 30 inches or whatever it is, but I realized it would look humorous sitting on top of my subwoofer. Plus, it costs too much anyway.

My monitor is 6.5 inches and I only have one.  Though, i think it would be cool to have 2.  *DP* ;-)

You should at least consider moving up to a 7 inch someday. Get two of them as widescreen is the shiznit nowadays.

I have a 19 inch Viewsonic LCD with an 8ms response time.  It has analog connectors, but it still has good image quality.  Before that, I had a 15 inch Hitachi LCD which came with my old Dell.  It had a terrible response time (40ms?), and I had ghosting in games.  That's why I replaced it.

I run a single 17" Flat CRT @ 1280x1024.  It's an NEC model FE771SB.

I've thought getting another screen several times, such as a Sun 21" flat CRT or a ViewSonic 2ms 19" LCD, but I'm happy enough with this screen that I don't really need to upgrade.  Besides, my current system can't run games any higher than 1280x1024 (I prefer high AF over high res or AA).

Side note....it sounds like your subwoofer is on top of your desk.  If so, why?  It sounds better under your desk because of the resulting resonation.

I have a 21inch dell CRT (which is focking nice IQ wise), a 19inch philips LCD something a rather and my dodgy 68cm CRT tv.

I'm also looking into getting one of those 24inch widescreen dells. That'd be so focking sweet.

When you play games, is your game on one screen or on all of your screens?

For the person who talked about the subwoofer. I never tried placing the subwoofer on the floor. I like to have my monitor up as high as I can. It helps one's posture.

As for the guy with the fat guy in the pic, can you please take the pic down? It is just too demeaning to have it next to words that describe high-end computer hardware.

now go away noob.  sooner rather than later.  and quit asking stupid questions like "does watercooling make my computer faster?"

as for the fat thing... i'm 6'1 and 212lbs.  I would hardly call that fat.  big maybe... but not fat.  now... ugly i may be, but if 99% of everyone in here is afraid to show their pic, just how fat and ugly are they?
